In December 2014, The DBP held its first international Back To School Event at the Little Learners Guided Educational Center in the Philippines. As education is so important in ensuring the improvement and development of a community and a culture, The DBP believes that all children should get the opportunity of an education. For many families in the Philippines however, the cost of sending their children to school can become too much. Thanks to the Sterling Paper Group Companies, The DBP team was able to give the children high quality notebooks, pencils and textbooks to help with their studies.
There are no words to describe the joy and excitement on the kid’s faces when they each received their gifts. It was in this moment that you realize how something as small as a pen, can mean so much.
We thank the Little Learners Guided Educational Center for welcoming the team into their school and cannot wait to get the chance to do it again!
